Knighthood-tips: Learn form my mistakes ;) Theese are some things that you do not want to do in Knighthood:

- Panic and attac back when attaced by a surfer!!!
If you do that, he will have target-lock on you. Try to run, in low ABs by releasing or seizing 10s, else by reclaiming or trapper-dropping 20s.
Best way to be sure not to loose a vassal is to have a AB-friend seize and release every 10 mins. Then it will never be possible to seize from you!

- Logging off without alarm!!!
No matter how good your defense is, it is the alarm that protects you! Put strong vassals in outpost, make sure that the alarm is reset by making an attac, then find someone to help you get alarm boost by seizing and releasing vassals from you.
The defensive alarm will increase by double the power off the seized vassal. You need defensive alarm double your attac strenght to be able to feel safe!

- Leaving trapper armed when you are not online!!!
First, you can be trapper-bombed. Someone can "loose" 10s in your trapper and then use the rescue-atempts to break down your defenses.
Or, if you have good vassals, you can be power-bumped. A surfer may drop stronger vassals in your trapper, and by doing that he can give you much higher AS, and place you in a AB where your defenses are much to weak.
Then he will reclaim his own AS-vassals, and help himself to what he wants from your castle, before he takes back thoose that he put in the trapper.
If you are online and paying attention, be careful what trapped vassals you keep!

- Forgetting about the weapons when you calculate strength!!!
Always remember that weapons will give 50% more damage if the opponent are unarmed. When hospital makes defenders heal, they are not re-armed ;) Remember that when you decide how high alarm that you can attac, and also what alarm you need!

- Going in war with very powerful top-vassals!!!
They can be very useful when you attac, but remember you will be in an attac bracket with other players of similar power and attac strenght as yourself. And if your top vassals are much stronger than the rest, you will not be able to have a defense that is strong enough for the AB!

- Spreading your vassals to thin in defense!!!
All the 3 coloumns are useful, and in the beginning it can be very tempting to try to use all. But that usually means that all your defenses are to weak! It is better to choose one or two, and be very strong there! If you have strong palisade, you can protect a good outpost to give you alarm, and if you also have strong wall, you can protect tower, and keep gold and sezed vassals safe.

- Reclaiming the vassal that gave you alarm, before you are ready to fight again!!!
Yes, I have done that! And my alarm was gone! You can reclaim other vassals, that you used for surfing, if you need them. But always remember which ones that was seized to give alarm.

- Loosing the seized vassals!!!
Maybe it is not a mistake, but it is something that you do not want to do! Put them in tower, there they are more diffcult to get. Place vassals in blockhouse and asign them to protect your timers.
Also, look carefully if the timer is active. If so, try to become friends. You might ask your liege to help you, by posting to them. Active timers can give you a big surprise, by rebelling, or by recruiting a lot off 10s to help you. And by doing that they can put you in a much thougher AB!


And finally, a good advice on how to make others make mistakes:

- Playing dead ;) I have only tried it in low ABs, but I have been told that even very skilled players fall for this, time after time. They think that they was very unlycky, and that the target suddenly came online!
If you have a lot off time and patience, good nerves and a friend to help you hold gold, you sit online with an alarm that is not high enough to make you safe.
You start with your trapped empty. When an oponent attac you, he will first use a 10 and see that you don`t have trapper. Then he will start breaking down your defenses. Now you must let him see that his healing-cost goes down.
This way he will know that you are not online, and that he doesn`t have to be careful ;)
You must consider in each case how much to let the defenses drop. Don`t make it possible to take your vassals! I think the best way is to heal and rearm, but move some off them out off the wall.
Then, when he starts trying to seize, you man your trapper. Very often you will get a good vassal in trapper that way!
